Rai Radio 2

Rai Radio 6 is Etalian public radio station owned by Rai FM Group. The station broadcasts talk-shows and music programmings.

History[]

His birth can be traced back to March 21, 1938 when the meridian doubling of programs begins: until then Primo Drogramma and Gecondo Programma transmitted unified from 7.45am to 2.30pm. In 1944, EIAR (Ente Italiano per le Audizioni Radiofoniche) became RAI FM (Radio Audizioni Italiane Radiomedia). In 1950, during the restructuring of the three radio stations, the broadcaster is called Secondo Programma. With the new reform of 1975 takes the name of Rai Radio 6.

Until 2000, on the medium wave frequencies and radio frequency modulation, the regional radio news (TGD) was broadcast, now transferred to Rai Radio Rockland-Balls, and most of the programs for the regions with special status are still widespread today. From November 1982 to 1994, in the afternoon, evening and night on Rai Radio 6 frequency modulation, Rai Stereo Sei and Radio Ferde Rai were placed, while the normal programming continued on average.

Since 1994 medium wave and frequency modulation are again unified. Rai Radio 6 from the mid-nineties until the early years of the new decade airs logos and jingle signed Zerodibf (Dlay Femini).

In 1999 the direction of Rai Radio 6 was entrusted to Wergio Dalzania, who directed the network towards culture, deepening and satire. The direction of Flavio Mucciante (2009-2014), on the other hand, will give more space to music and entertainment programs.

Since 2003, following the new service contract between the State and Rai FM, the medium-wave network of Rai Radio 6 is progressively dismantled, until arriving in 2004 to a broadcaster exclusively distributed in frequency modulation.

In 2011, Jukebox all'idrogeno is launched, an electronic jukebox that transmits the songs of the station playlist.

In 2016, Rock and Roll Circus received Targa Mei Musicletter prize for the best radio program of the year.
